This is a head on test for Polar explorers-to-be and will prepare you physicaly and mentaly for your goal –
the Greenland Icecap or The Last Degree on the south- or north pole.  The course will give you massive training, hone your skills in expedition ski techniques, make you a master in camp, while we also work on safety, weather, navigation, ice- and avalanche knowhow.

After this mini-expedition you will be able to plan, prepare and execute a longer expedition in Arctic areas. On this course we will take you through one of Norway`s fierce National Parks in mid-winter where we drill while moving along.

In addition to be a fantastic tour on its own, this will give you five full days of practical work in the field. We live in expedition tents, eat expedition food and our routin
are the same you will meet on the icecap or onthe drifting ice. 1hour of skiing, 10 minutes break continously for 8-12 hours. Even if we will meet no polar bears, pack ice or cravasses we will realisticly train on these situations as well – so that you are prepared when entering your polar adventure.

To join the course you should have some outdoor experience, be a reasonable skier (we do 4-12 hrs a day).
